Oren Lavie - best music video ever!! - video
Oren Lavie is an Israeli guy, born in 1976. Currently living in New York, after spending some time in London. He's a singer, composer, playwright and theatre director. Probably not many of you have heard of him. Me neither until recently. One of his songs was on the soundtrack of the Chronicles of Narnia movie. A sensitive guy alright, compared by many with Tom Waits or Leonard Cohen.
A small piano, a little bit of a guitar, a cello or other non-electrical instruments accompany most of his songs. The one below makes no exception. It's a fabulous song, if you ask me, with and incredible video. Released a few weeks ago, it's called "Her Morning Elegance". And I dedicate it exclusively to you.
